A hot UFO sighting Summer for Kansas City, Missouri

For most of the country it was record heat waves this Summer, but for Kansas City, Missouri it was record UFO sightings. People from all walks of life, kids to adults, witnessed bizarre craft starting on May 7 through the end of June. UFO Examiner pieced it together.

The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) at Missouri is reporting a UFO sighting increase that has been ongoing these past six weeks, according to a June 23, 2011, telephone interview with Assistant State Director Margie Kay.

“The last six weeks in Kansas City have been absolutely crazy with sightings,” Kay said.

First came reports of a large gray object witnessed by hundreds of people. The image was drawn here:

Then more witnesses came forward including a 7-year old boy who’s mother thought he was lying. It turns out that what this child saw was also witnessed by others. Here’s the child’s drawing of what he saw:

The sightings didn’t stop there. They continued a few weeks later in Belton, MO, where eye witnesses claim they saw

a gray, metallic, saucer-shaped craft with neon blue lights pulsating around the craft, with bright, white lights underneath. They saw the craft two-to-three blocks away, hovering above houses near a four-way stop. They watched it for several minutes. They report seeing beams of lights coming down and lights shooting out of it. And then it disappeared. Then their electricity goes out three times. Then this thing reappears 50 feet away hovering over a nearby townhome. It was 40 to 50 feet in width – and shoots out four balls of light; and then shoots straight up and disappears.

Many of the eye witnesses were in law enforcement. To date there were 24 reported sightings of UFO’s near Kansas City this Summer.

An armada of UFO’s over South Korea

Several eyewitnesses saw what looks like an armada of UFO’s hovering over Daejeon, South Korea this week. Local media also reported the bizarre occurrence. At one point the lights align in a very familiar triangular shape. We can rule out lanterns as lanterns to do change orbit repeatedly. (via nufo)

Silent egg-shaped UFO caught on camera

Kentucky has been a hotbed of UFO activity lately including this

On August 8th an eyewitness in Kentucky described seeing a slow-moving, egg-shaped object hovering in the night sky.

“Right out of the blue, this low, firey looking egg-shaped object came over the field west of me, heading northeast,” the witness stated. “It was moving real slow, and lights were flashing from it.”

UFO appears after Canadian Lights Festival

A globe-like UFO appeared on night vision cameras following Canada’s Lights Festival in Vancouver on August 6th.

According to Epoch Times the orb changed diameter by as much as 25 percent, repeatedly contracting and expanding during the two minute period of observation.

UFOs appear over England

Some are calling them flares. Isn’t it amazing how these ‘flares’ don’t move at all?

Epoch Times

A formation of reddish lights was spotted hovering above South Shields on the north-east coast of England on Aug. 8, according to videos posted on YouTube.

In this video, several orbs are seen glowing brightly in the night sky, maintaining a constant altitude.

The YouTube user commented that they appeared around 10:30 p.m. local time, and seemed to be several miles away, disappearing then reappearing several times.

US Commander speaks out about the Rendlesham Forest UFO

A number of important revelations came to light this week from US Commander Conrad. He was in charge of the investigation into the 1980 sightings at Rendlesham Forest. He’d remained silent for 30 years until this week.

From The Telegraph:

Lt Col Halt filed a report of the incident to the Ministry of Defence some days later and has since go on to say the lights he saw were “extraterrestrial in origin” and accuse the US and UK security services of a cover-up. Col Conrad, who had gone home convinced he had seen nothing unusual, has remained silent.

Now he has provided a series of statements about the sightings to Dr David Clarke, a Sheffield Hallam University academic and the UFO adviser to the National Archives - which this week will release some Ministry of Defence files relating to the incident.

“We saw nothing that resembled Lt Col Halt’s descriptions either in the sky or on the ground,” Col Conrad said.

In a damning indictment of his former deputy, Col Conrad added: “We had people in position to validate Halt’s narrative, but none of them could.”

(…)

Col Conrad is scathing about his former deputy.

“He should be ashamed and embarrassed by his allegation that his country and England both conspired to deceive their citizens over this issue. He knows better,” he said.

Australian UFO footage makes a splash

Strange lights over the Australian city of Adelaide

Australia’s been the home to a rash of UFO sightings in the past few months but few have caused this much of an uproar.

Strange lights were seen over of skies of Adelaide, Australia on December 7, 2010 and just now made its way onto the internet. Eye witnesses claim they’ve never seen anything like this before, including airplanes.

A local news site picked up the story and offered this suggestion as to what it could be from a skeptic.

The non-believer posted a video last week of a Pulselite unit being used on a plane and said such warning devices are now used on some planes landing in Adelaide to avoid bird strikes.

Adelaide Airport general manager of corporate affairs John McArdle said Pulselite units were used on aircraft flying over Adelaide.

Watch the video and see for yourself.

Underwater UFO found?

Underwater treasure hunters think they’ve found what could be a sunken UFO in the waters between Sweden and Finland.

The lead investigator Peter Lindbergh explained to local media that his crew discovered “a large circle, about 60 feet in diameter. You see a lot of weird stuff in this job, but during my 18 years as a professional I have never seen anything like this. The shape is completely round”.

That may not be true according to Ben Radford:

Lindberg’s claim that the object “is perfectly round” may or may not be accurate; while it looks round from the information so far, the resolution of the sonar image was not high enough to verify that it is indeed round. And while the lines that appear to be leading to (or from) the feature may suggest some sort of movement, it’s also possible they have nothing to do with the object.

So what is it? Without any further images or data to rely on our best guess is that it’s likely a natural rock formation or something man made sunken long ago.
